This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which deposits made through our website are eligible for refunds, and clarifies our terms for vehicle purchases and associated services.

1. Deposit Refunds

We offer a fully refundable deposit on vehicles listed on our website under the following conditions:

  • The deposit is 100% refundable prior to the finalization of the sale, regardless of the time taken to finalize the transaction.

  • There is no fixed time limit for refunds, as we understand that sourcing, inspecting, certifying, and shipping rare and exotic vehicles may take time.

  • If no additional services (such as inspections or third-party verification) have been initiated, the full amount of the deposit will be refunded upon request.

Deductions from Refunds

If any costs have been incurred before the refund request, such as:

  • Vehicle inspection

  • Certification services

  • Documentation or VIN verification

  • Market sourcing for off-inventory car requests then those applicable costs will be deducted from the refund, and full documentation will be provided for transparency.

2. Final Sale & Non-Refundable Payments

Once the sale is finalized, the following conditions apply:

  • The customer will have received a detailed vehicle inspection report, verification, and sale agreement.

  • Upon approval and acceptance of the car’s final condition and shipping terms, the deposit is considered part of the full and final payment.

  • At this point, the transaction is non-refundable.

  • Any remaining balance is usually paid via wire transfer, and this amount is not subject to any refund under this policy.

3. Applicability of This Policy

This refund policy:

  • Applies only to deposits made through our website or official payment gateway.

  • Does not cover full payments made via bank transfer or wire once a vehicle sale is finalized.

  • Does not apply to cases where the vehicle has already been released for shipment or title transferred.

4. Requesting a Refund

To request a refund of your deposit, please:

  • Contact our support team at support@carexports.ca with your invoice number and vehicle reference.

  • Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days after verification of any deductions (if applicable).

5. Disputes & Chargebacks

  • We encourage all buyers to communicate with us directly in case of concerns before initiating any third-party disputes.

  • Unauthorized chargebacks may result in a blacklisting from future vehicle purchases or withheld services.

6. Changes to This Policy

CarExports.ca reserves the right to update this policy at any time. All changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
