Plymouth Cuda (1974)
US$ 78,000 (Before Freight & Insurance)
Description:
This stunning 1974 Cuda AAR Tribute has been fully rotisserie restored and presents a bold blend of muscle and style. Under the hood sits a powerful 360 V8 with a 4-barrel carb, paired with a 727 3-speed automatic transmission. The car is currently wrapped in a stealthy satin metallic grey with a satin black hood, but underneath lies its original and beautifully preserved Cinnamon Stick Orange finish—evidence of a meticulous and documented build.
Rolling on brand new 20” Ridler wheels with aggressive 245/35R20 fronts and 305/35R20 rears, this Cuda has the perfect stance to match its muscle. From the show-ready finish to the powerful drivetrain, every inch of this tribute build speaks to the legacy of the AAR heritage—with modern attitude. A serious head-turner that’s ready to drive, show, or add to a discerning collection.

The 1974 Plymouth Cuda was the high-performance version of the Barracuda, a two-door pony car built by Chrysler Corporation. It was the last year of production for the third-generation Barracuda/Cuda. While the \'Cuda retained its distinctive styling, it saw some changes due to the shift in performance expectations and regulatory changes.
Key features of the 1974 Plymouth Cuda:
Engine: The most common engine was a 360 cubic inch (5.9L) V8, producing around 245 horsepower. Other engine options included the 440 and 426 Hemi big-block V8s.
Body Style: The \'Cuda was available in hardtop and convertible body styles.
Styling: The \'Cuda's styling was largely unchanged from earlier years, but it featured a more rounded look compared to the more aggressive, boxy styling of the 1970-71 models.
Regulations: By 1974, new bumper regulations required a 5 mph impact standard, leading to the inclusion of larger bumpers on the \'Cuda.
Transmission: The \'Cuda was available with both manual and automatic transmissions.
Options: Various options were available, including power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning.
In summary, the 1974 Plymouth Cuda was a strong and recognizable muscle car, but it was also the final year for the third-generation model and saw some changes due to performance and regulatory shifts
